Here is a film I shot for Kristen and William. I've been waiting to use this song for a long while, but waiting for the right couple. When I heard Arcade Fire playing before the ceremony I jumped on the opportunity. Here it is. Enjoy.

This & That
I've been tardy on my video updates. I promised one video a week. Usually I can pump out a bunch of videos in a week but my main computer hard drive died so either I can get it fixed or get a new computer. Still deciding on that one. Anyway, editing and rendering is much slower on my backups. Thankfully this is the slow season so I can get away with it.
I promise some cool stuff and even a new wedding video as early as tonight. Stay tuned.

5.1 How to Draw a Skull
A good friend of mine has been working on some projects with the Miami Ink guys. One of which was a instructional video that I was involved with as well. The project is on hold but I have some footage and thought it would be nice to throw it online.

3.1 Walk in the Woods
My wife and I took advantage of some newly fallen snow and headed out to Wharton State Park for a walk. I brought my camera and Buddy, the dog whom we are dog-sitting for the next few weeks. I played with the footage a bit and set it to Feist's Honey Honey.
You can view it on my vimeo page.

2.2. Outside My Window
I was under the gun for this one, but with an hour to spare the week two video was finished. These weekly videos aren't supposed to be very time consuming, but I lost two computers in a week so editing on my "accounting" computer was my only choice. You know what happens when you put art people and accounting people in the same room. Nothing. Or in my case a two hour renders takes two days.
For this video, I shot some footage outside my window, sped it up and added some funky photoshop filters. Then dropped in some Burial and here it is.

52 Week Project 1.1
I am one of those people who think New Year's resolutions are rather foolish and are really just around so there is something to talk about. There's really not much to the holiday. Before the new year I decided I really need to film more non-wedding videos. To that end I thought if I did one non-wedding video a week that would really keep the creative juices flowing through the long dark days of winter. It just happens that the first week is this week. So while it may appear to be a New Years resolution, it really isn't.
So what's up with this first video? Yeah, maybe it is recycled, but I needed to start strong so since the rest of the footage from the air show is lost I have posted it. I used Tom Middleton's Sea of Glass as the soundtrack. Here it is.

Lori + Jeff
Here is my last highlight video from the 2008 Season. Valley Green has always been one of my favorite places in Philadelphia, but as a wedding site it's amazing, especially in the fall. An outdoor wedding in November can be risky but the rain stopped and it became a perfect mild day. I've been testing out a few things in After Effects and adding them to the videos.
